With the renovated Amsterdamstraat as a green boulevard, the ‘Island’ Residence forms a visual backbone between the Scheldt and the Londenbrug, the ideal hotspot! With beautiful views and spatial freedom in relation to the water, the MAS and the city, ‘Island’ Residence provides all its residents with class, privacy and residential comfort. The project is one of the final, stunning cornerstones of the southern part of the new Eilandje! ‘Island’ Residence will be a funky and topical interpretation of the existing warehouse typology. The concept is made up of angled pilasters in light grey brick, which visually envelop the apartments like a folded, subtle envelope. A structure that is at once sober, familiar and characteristic. ‘Island’ Residence is stately but at the same time elegant, unique, fresh and dynamic in appearance because of the many ‘dancing’, undulating terraces on the façade! ’Island’ Residence’ stands for renewed individuality on the Eilandje, winks at the port, at the shipping industry and affords every resident on his or her terrace the experience of the bow on the ship with beautiful lateral views of the water and the city highlights.
