The pentagonal floor plan provided the necessary creativity during the design process. The result is an interesting balance between the intimacy of
the central core and the panoramic rooms with their view of the Northsea outside.
A timeless ambiance was at the basis for the interior design. Discrete materials set the tone in the living area. Sand-colored finishes were used for
wall, ceiling and floor cladding in the spaces facing the the sea. The Evolin natural stone was used for the central core which contains the dining
room, kitchen and bathroom. This flooring, placed in irregular bond, creates a darker accent and refers to the colours of the North Sea. By adding
a dark ceiling and wall cabinets in grey-green oak, the dining room turns into an intimate shelter in the center of the place.
By taking a closer look, you’ll notice the tough and rebel elements that are typical of our B BRAND signature. For example the steel staircase and
door handles that are finished with the unique Corbeau Patina. The Pyramid natural stone for the sink and countertops, combines perfectly with the
natural oak that is used for the tailor-made furniture and flooring.
The bathroom is at the center of the space. The smart privacy glass makes it possible to transform the panoramic bathroom into an intimate
wellness. A serene and sober ambiance was created in the bedrooms. The two guest rooms with attached bathroom are conceived as hotel suites
which makes the feeling of luxury complete.
We also got the opportunity to integrate our furniture in this project. The dining room features our CROSS TABLE. Its tree steel legs are also treated
with the same Corbeau finish as the rest of the steelwork. Our FIVE TABLE – which serves as a desk – is tailor-made and follows the shape of the
floorplan.
