DIJK is a residential project situated in a tranquil setting along the Zenne, nestled between the village and the station. The three volumes are thoughtfully integrated into the park zone, seamlessly extending the surrounding natural landscape throughout the site.
Special attention is given to living comfort in the stylish, energy-efficient apartments, which feature 2 or 3 bedrooms. By organizing four apartments around a shared core, all units become corner apartments, offering dual orientations for optimal sunlight and diverse views. The tapered sides of each building enhance privacy, reduce overlooking, and provide more open views towards the village center. The penthouses, with three façades and spacious terraces, allow for even more enjoyment of panoramic vistas.
The brick architecture, characteristic of the village core, creates a sense of familiarity and warmth, blending harmoniously into the context. A light-colored brick façade with accents in earth tones and wooden finishes offers a material and color transition from building to park environment. The light-colored brick with tinted mortar is laid in horizontal patterns with varied masonry techniques. Alternating rows of protruding brickwork create subtle horizontal lines across the volumes. Aluminum window frames and balustrades add a refined touch of elegance.
