TRINITY TOWER OSTEND
The ‘Oosteroever’ master plan stands for ‘the new Ostend’, which draws the attention of a high-quality architecture with a broad signature. In this new part of the city based on abstract expressionism with a healthy balance of intelligent modesty and a controlled expression, we build a second reference after ‘One Baelskaai’: a tight angle beacon and light lantern to the dock. This tower of 16 floors is our 1st on the Belgian coast and arranges 5 apartments per layer with very spacious terraces as stacked tables above each other. This javanais of floating white polished concrete floors form the building’s expression. Black exterior joinery and special mirror separations make up a readable concept of grouped living. These transverse partitions form the architectural gills that elevate the building as a characterful, timeless and light architecture piece.
